About The Romantic Tour
The Romantic Tour is Bruno Mars’s first full headline tour in nearly a decade — his first since the 24K Magic World Tour wrapped in 2018 — and the first time he’s built a run entirely around stadiums. It supports The Romantic, his fourth studio album, released in February 2026. On-sale week set records: the largest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation’s history and a new Ticketmaster record for tickets sold in a single day, which pushed the tour from an initial handful of dates to roughly 72 shows across North America, Europe and the UK.
Vancouver is one of only two Canadian stops on the tour (Toronto’s Rogers Stadium is the other), and demand here has been unusual even by the tour’s standards — what started as a single BC Place date grew to five as each on-sale sold through, setting the record for the most performances by any artist at the stadium.

BC Place sits in downtown Vancouver at 777 Pacific Boulevard, on the edge of False Creek. It opened in 1983 with what was then the world’s largest air-supported dome roof, and reopened after a major 2010–2011 renovation with a cable-supported retractable roof — still the largest of its kind anywhere, able to open or close in about 20 minutes. With a capacity of 54,500, it’s the largest multipurpose venue in British Columbia and home to the BC Lions (CFL) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS).
Getting to BC Place

BC Place is about as central as a stadium gets, which makes public transport the easy choice on a show night. Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain station sits right next to the venue on the Expo Line, putting most of downtown and East Vancouver a short, direct ride away. Yaletown-Roundhouse station is a few minutes’ walk on the other side and a good alternative if Stadium–Chinatown gets busy after the show.
If you’re staying downtown or in Yaletown, walking is genuinely realistic — BC Place sits right at the edge of both neighbourhoods. Driving is possible but not recommended: parking near the stadium is limited and fills fast, and the surrounding streets get congested as 54,500 people converge on the same few blocks.
Make a Day of It
Vancouver’s downtown attractions cluster tightly around BC Place, so it’s easy to fill the day before doors. FlyOver Canada at Canada Place is a ten-minute walk and works well earlier in the day, while Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a short trip across the Lions Gate Bridge if you want mountains and forest rather than downtown streets. A hop-on hop-off tour is the easiest way to get your bearings if this is a first visit.
Where to Stay in Vancouver
Downtown and Yaletown are the obvious bases — both put you within walking distance of BC Place and close to Stadium–Chinatown or Yaletown-Roundhouse stations, so you can skip the post-show transit crush entirely. Gastown and the West End are a short SkyTrain or bus ride away and worth considering if you want more restaurants and nightlife around your hotel.
