• Metro: Line 2 (Campi Flegrei station) is the closest metro stop, around a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. From Napoli Centrale allow roughly 20-25 minutes door to door.
• Cumana railway: The Cumana line’s Mostra station is another short walk from the stadium and a popular route for fans coming from the city centre or Pozzuoli side.
• Bus: Several ANM city bus routes serve Fuorigrotta; on matchdays extra services and diversions are common, so check ANM’s live updates before you travel.
• On foot: If you’re staying centrally, it’s a long walk — most fans combine a metro or Cumana ride with the final stretch on foot alongside the crowd, which is part of the pre-match atmosphere in itself.

Arrive early. Security checks and turnstile queues at the Maradona can move slowly for high-demand fixtures, and the walk from the metro joins thousands of fans converging on the same few approach roads.

A guided walk through the tunnels, aqueducts and WWII air-raid shelters beneath the city — a completely different side of Naples from the street-level chaos above, and a good option on a match-day morning since it’s indoors and only takes about 90 minutes.

Museo Cappella Sansevero — the Veiled Christ

A small chapel holding one of the most astonishing sculptures in Italy — the Veiled Christ, carved so the marble appears to drape like real fabric. It’s a compact visit, easy to fit into a couple of free hours before or after a game, but it books out for specific time slots well in advance.
