What to Expect at Monster Jam
Monster Jam turns a stadium floor into a dirt arena of ramps, jumps and obstacles, and puts some of the most recognisable trucks in motorsport on it. Each show combines racing, where drivers go head to head, with freestyle, where they get a set time to pull off the biggest jumps, wheelies and slap-wheel stunts they can. The official event page lists trucks such as Grave Digger and El Toro Loco, and line-ups can change, so check the official page closer to the date.
The Pit Party is the way to see the trucks up close. Fans with a Pit Party pass can walk the floor before the show, take photos with the trucks and often meet drivers. A pass is sold separately, you still need a main event ticket to enter, and activities and times vary, so check the official event page for the schedule.
Monster Jam is a family event, and it is loud. Bring ear protection for younger children, arrive early to clear security and find your seats, and dress in layers, because conditions inside can vary with the stadium’s retractable roof.
Where to Sit
Monster Jam layouts at AT&T Stadium differ from football and concerts. The trucks run on a dirt floor in the middle of the stadium, so lower-level seats put you close to the ramps and the action, while the 200 and 300 levels give the best view of the whole course and the freestyle jumps. The 400 level is the budget way in, and there are no pillars blocking the view because the stadium’s two huge arches remove interior columns.

Getting to AT&T Stadium
AT&T Stadium is in Arlington’s Entertainment District, roughly midway between downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth and about 10 miles south of DFW Airport. Arlington has no rail service to the stadium, so nearly everyone arrives by car or rideshare. You can buy parking in advance through the stadium’s official parking page, which also lists rideshare and drop-off zones. Where to Stay
The Arlington Entertainment District is the simplest base: the stadium, Globe Life Field and Texas Live! are all within walking distance of each other, so you can walk to the show and skip the parking and rideshare queues. Loews Arlington Hotel sits inside Texas Live! and is the closest full-service option, and options such as the Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington trade a short drive for lower prices. For more nightlife and dining, downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas (where the Omni Dallas Hotel is a popular base) are each roughly 20-30 minutes away by car. Staying overnight close to the stadium saves you a late drive home with tired children.

Things to Do Around the Show
Make a weekend of it. The Entertainment District has Globe Life Field, Texas Live! and Six Flags Over Texas within a short drive, and downtown Dallas and Fort Worth’s Stockyards are about 20 minutes away.
