Australia and New Zealand: tickets and city guides
The Take Cover Tour plays nine dates in Australia and New Zealand, in two blocks: six in November 2026 and three in January 2027, and we have a full guide for each. Foo Fighters Brisbane
Suncorp Stadium. Opening night of the Australia and New Zealand run, at Suncorp Stadium in Milton.
Foo Fighters Townsville
Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The band’s first Townsville show, at the stadium ticket sites still list as North Queensland Stadium.
Foo Fighters Sydney
Accor Stadium. A Tuesday night at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park.
Foo Fighters Newcastle
McDonald Jones Stadium. A Thursday night at McDonald Jones Stadium in Broadmeadow, in the Hunter region of New South Wales.
Foo Fighters Melbourne
Marvel Stadium. A Saturday night at the roofed Marvel Stadium in the Docklands.
Foo Fighters Adelaide
Coopers Stadium. The last Australian date of 2026, at Coopers Stadium in Hindmarsh.
Foo Fighters Christchurch
One New Zealand Stadium. The first New Zealand date, at Christchurch’s new central city stadium, Te Kaha.

Western Springs Stadium. An open-air show at Western Springs Stadium, about 3 km from central Auckland.

HBF Park. The final date of the run, at HBF Park in East Perth.
About Foo Fighters live
Foo Fighters were formed by Dave Grohl in 1994 and are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Songs like “Everlong”, “The Pretender”, “Best of You”, “Learn to Fly” and “Times Like These” have made them one of the biggest live rock acts in the world. The Take Cover Tour brings stadium shows to Australia and New Zealand, with all-ages dates across the run.
The tour continues from Australia and New Zealand to India in late January and to a run of South American stadiums in February and March 2027, finishing in Lima. Each Australian and New Zealand date has its own local support acts, and the line-ups are listed in our city guides.
Planning your trip
- Pick your show first. Each stadium has a different layout, and our city guides include an illustrated seat map so you can compare sections before you buy.
- Dates in blocks. Brisbane to Adelaide runs from 5 to 17 November 2026, then the tour returns on 19 January 2027 for Christchurch, Auckland and Perth, followed by India and South America.
- Combine shows with a holiday. Sydney and Newcastle are both in New South Wales, and Christchurch and Auckland pair naturally into a New Zealand trip, three days apart.
- Shows without a guide. We are adding guides for more dates. For India and South America, check each venue and ticket agent for the latest details.
- Check entry requirements. Visa and travel-authorisation rules differ for Australia and New Zealand, so confirm on the official government sites before you book.
- Book hotels early. Concert nights push prices up in every host city, and January is peak summer holiday season in New Zealand and Perth. Each guide has a suggested hotel and an accommodation map.
- Travel light. Stadiums set their own bag rules, and some are cashless, so bring a card or phone and check each venue’s site.
